John Broadwood & Sons semi-grand piano stamped #22 on the wrestplank.

The date 1839 and a signature, perhaps that of the casemaker, is written by hand on one of the legs.

Dimensions: 7'3" long x 3'11 1/2" wide. Compass: 6 octaves, FF- f''', double strung, two pedals, sostenuto and una corda.

Worked on at John Morley and Co., London, in 1970, the instrument is playable but would benefit from some technical work..
